At the 2012 February 27 Council Meeting, Council directed Administration to develop options to amend the proposed Area Redevelopment Plan and Land Use Bylaw amendments regarding the Mission Road Main Street Innovation Project in order to incorporate some of the benefits of the Innovation Project. Administration considered amendments to both the original privately initiated bylaws as well as the set of bylaws brought forward by Administration to implement the Innovation Project concept. The objective was to suggest changes that would be able to satisfy some of the concerns raised by the original applicants, while still retaining some of the key components of the charrette vision.
